SCROLL DOWN

Anthony O'Brien

Director

He is a student of the work and he’s an actor and he is very expressive of his beliefs. He doesn’t try to push it on you, but he just has a body of knowledge on a scene and how he feels a scene should feel, and the rhythm of the scene and then he just has a body of information so he gives you so many different analogies that can connect you to a place where you’re like ‘Oh okay, you know what, I didn’t think about it that way, let me try it that way. And being that he’s an actor he understands the subtext and he understands where you’re going and that within one scene you can express an arc. I like that about him.
— Jamie Hector (Actor; The Wire, Bosch)
He is an amazing director. He’s just wonderful- and he has a very clear vision. He is one of my favorites.
— Melora Walters (Actor; Magnolia, Cold Mountain, Dead Poet’s Society, Big Love)

Being a director requires an inherent passion for good story, or at the very least tension - but unfortunately most aspects of filmmaking have little to do with passion and more to do with money management, people management, politics and sales.
